4 Month Check Up

Skylar had her 4 month check up yesterday.(she's really 18 weeks) She's a whopping 12 lbs - 14 oz and 24 inches long. Again the shots were horrible but the recovery was so much better. Paul had a terrible time with naps during the day but she slept all night with no problems. You just never know. This picture seemed to sum up exactly what she thinks of the doctor's office!!

Christmas Stocking

I made Skylar's first stocking. Paul and I decided to put a bird on the front since we call her "our little bird." I stuffed the bird a little so it is raised a bit. Sewed stripes for the back. I had a lot of fun making it. Maybe next year I'll add her name to the top.

Christmas Day

We celebrated our first Christmas with lots of glee. The best part was watching Skylar play with the tissue paper. She got really excited and kept thrashing it around and playing hide and seek.

I just barely got finished making her a stocking. Picture in a post to come.

Meeting Santa

Skylar met Santa and was not even fazed by his fuzzy white beard and red hat. It was great. Our friends Craig and Courtney hosted a "Cocoa and Cocktails" party the week before Christmas where Santa came to visit all the kids. We sang Christmas carols as Santa handed out candy canes to the children. It was a lot of fun!

Christmas Tree Lot

We walked down to the tree lot at the end of our street a few weeks ago just to look around. Paul was not intending to look so mean in the picture but it looks so funny how it is. "Don't mess with my daughter... or else!" Sky fell asleep on the way home... sleepy baby.

Monkey Hat

Skylar got this hat from my good friend Julie. It is so adorable I had to share it. She looks like she's posing for the picture with her hand up like that.

2 to 4 Months

We are so behind in posting here on the blog so I will consolidate to catch up. Time has just flown by. 2010 is coming to an end. Skylar is growing at lightening speed. We have had lots of visitors and a few holidays pass us by. Patti and Terry came in September to meet Sky. My dad and step mom came for visit at the end of September. Patti and Terry came again in October for the super duper Halloween experience at the Foley-Susco house with the hundred's of trick or treaters. I made Skylar a skirt (ballerina witch) for her costume. We had a lot of fun. Skylar is smiling so much now as well. The nose crinkle is the best!!
