Tummy Time

Skylar just loves her tummy time... NOT! She is really not a big fan these days. We usually hear grunting and yelling which then escalates to screaming every time we put her on her tummy. Occasionally we get calm and submissive behavior at the beginning which is so lovely. Paul happened to catch it on video today. Here is our cute little monkey!

Happy New Year

We hung out at S & B's last night. Bridget made awesome ruben sandwiches. Harper and Skylar had a little cousin time. Harper was so cute with her. So gentle and loving. Alex and Robin came as well with their new son Cirian who is 2 months old. What a size difference between he and Sky! We all played cards and actually stayed up for the ball to drop. First time in a few years for Paul and I... typically in bed by 10:00! Maxine, the tarantula, was brought out of her cage for a visit with Cirian by his momma, the entomologist. Cirian was not happy to say the least. We had a great time and it was nice to be with family and friends. Happy New Year everyone!!

4 Month Check Up

Skylar had her 4 month check up yesterday.(she's really 18 weeks) She's a whopping 12 lbs - 14 oz and 24 inches long. Again the shots were horrible but the recovery was so much better. Paul had a terrible time with naps during the day but she slept all night with no problems. You just never know. This picture seemed to sum up exactly what she thinks of the doctor's office!!

Christmas Stocking

I made Skylar's first stocking. Paul and I decided to put a bird on the front since we call her "our little bird." I stuffed the bird a little so it is raised a bit. Sewed stripes for the back. I had a lot of fun making it. Maybe next year I'll add her name to the top.
